1) The specifications for the Command Post is four consoles. The spec says eight monitor arms. Is it two per console or eight per console.

1. Answer: There are 4 console/controller positions (2 desks on the diagram), within the CP EA cell that we are looking to redo. Those 2 computer positions each have 2 computer monitors (NIPR) and 1 SIPR monitor. The other 1 position just has NIPR (2 monitors). They also have the Siemens consoles at each controller position.

2) Command post usually have Siemens/Unify radio systems. If this is the case, will all seven consoles be using it or just the ones in the command post?

1. Answer: There are currently 3 Siemen positions within the CP Emergency cell area that will be on the desks as well.

3) Which floor is the work being performed?

1. Answer: We are on 2nd level above the basement (false floor though within the cell)

4.) Will there be a dumpster available for disposing of the old furniture? Yes and some of the existing consoles will be repurposed.

1. Answer: Yes a dumpster is available. We are repurposing some of the old furniture to use at our alternate CP.

5.) What material do you want the workstations/consoles to be made from?

e) Answer: Millwork and matching is basically the wood material for the desk and any decorative attachments to the work stations. i.e. decorative side paneling included in the design.

6.) What material should the work station tops be made from

f) Answer: Plexi-glass worksurface inlay (flush with surface)

7.) Does Davis Bacon wages apply to the installation efforts? If so please provide wage determination.

g)Answer: No, this is not a service contract. Installation & removal of the existing consoles.

8.) Is it desirable for the counter height to be electrically adjustable or manually adjustable?

h) Answer: Electrically Adjustable

9.) Flooring is mentioned in the SOW, please indicate an approximate sq ft if it is included in this proposal i)Answer: Flooring is no longer required

10) What are the requirements/ specifications for 0004 – Millwork and General Accessories

j) Answer: Millwork and matching is basically the wood material for the desk and any decorative attachments to the work stations. i.e. decorative side paneling included in the design. Work station should be able to accommodate general accessories such as keyboard, computer speakers, pen holders, etc.

11) The adverisment on Beta.Sam has measurements for the stations but the SOW indicates it is the awarded contractors duty to determine sizes, please advise

k) Answer: The workstation is customizable as long as it meets all listed requirements.

12) Is it desirable for the counter height to be electrically adjustable or manually adjustable?

l) Answer: Electrically adjustable

13) Does any portion of the units need to be lockable?

m) Answer: Counter should be able to be secure/locked into position when height is adjusted.

14.) Does each of the 3 room have raised floors for power/voice/data?

n) Answer: Yes

15) Will you accept SCS Certified Materials in lieu of Greenguard? Both are 3rd Party Indoor Air Quality certification programs with the same testing levels?

o) Answer: Equivalent certifications are acceptable

16) Control Room Consoles – What are sizes of the CPU’s – how many are classified?

p) Answer: Monitors are 24 inches. 3 classified monitors plus 2 classified laptops.
