1. REFERENCE: SOW Item 8.0 Testing and attachment 6 UFC 4-021-01 para 1-5.3 Performance and Acceptance Testing:

QUESTION: Who is the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for this project, and who will be the AHJ's representative who will witness the acceptance test for the gov't?

Answer: Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies

2. REFERENCE: attachment 6 UFC 4-021-01 para 4-2 Requirements for System Designers:

QUESTION: Please confirm whether a NICET IV (fire alarm systems) engineering technologist will suffice as the Designer of Record for this project.

Answer: Yes, NICET IV will suffice.

3. REFERENCE: SOW Item 3.0 Specific Tasks and 9.0 Period/Place of Performance

QUESTION: What, if any, are the specific design phase (i.e. preparation of drawings and equipment submittals and gov't approval thereof) requirements for this project?

QUESTION: Does the design phase need to be accomplished within the 120 days of award?

QUESTION: Who is the AHJ's representative that will review and approve the design documents, and does the time it takes for that task count against the 120 day completion?

Answer: Submit plans and equipment submittals for Government approval prior to beginning of installation. The Design phase is not part of the 120-day project completion window. An amendment to the Statement of Work is attached addressing the design phase (Section 6).
