1.) Please be advised that multiple GFGI Items have a 3-4 week leadtime (or longer) per factory reps, not including transit to site. As the install completion date is 9/7/20, how should this be addressed?

a. We are requesting install completion of 9/7/20, however in situations where lead times make that unfeasible we expect completion as ASAP as long as communication is maintained for awareness of all parties.

2.) Given that the projected award date is July 22nd, 2020, the submittal turnaround time is critical. For items requiring submittals such as Item 92 (Serving Counter), there will be a time lag from submittal of a drawing to approval. How quickly from submission of a submittal packet can approvals be received by the winning contractor?

a. Submittal package reviews/approvals are anticipated for a duration of 5 days or less and will take no longer than 10 days to ensure an expeditious process.

3.) There are several items that may have requirements for a licensed plumber/electrician to make the connection. Are we responsible for final connections of the equipment, or will a licensed contractor be available onsite?

a. All items requiring a licensed plumber/electrician should be provided under CFCI and are not part of this submittal as it is for GFGI items.

4.) Please be advised there are several pieces that will require coordination between different parties (an example being Item 87 - Hot Food Wells and Item 88 - Sneeze Guards being set and installed into Item 92, Serving Counter). These will contribute to the expanded lead time and pose an issue to the 9/7/20 start.

a. We are requesting install completion of 9/7/20, however in situations where lead times make that unfeasible we expect completion as ASAP as long as communication is maintained for awareness of all parties.

5.) Please be advised there are several pieces that will require coordination between the

GFGI schedule and the CFCI schedule (such as the Fire Suppression System for the

Exhaust Hood and the Exhaust Hood itself). How is this to be addressed?

a. Item 62, Fire Suppression System, Finish Cook, will be included in the CFCI and will not be required as part of this submittal as it will be installed as part of the initial build contract.
