About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA500026Q0070, dated 21 September 2026. The document does not address specific products or services required, pricing terms, response dates, or award information, serving instead as clarification for potential contractors on specific equipment details related to a solicitation.
The Q&A addresses three inquiries regarding an R-11 Refueler Truck engine replacement requirement associated with DoDAAC F1W3LG. Contractors requested the engine serial number and truck VIN to ensure accurate quotation of the replacement engine; the government provided License Plate 06L00080 and VIN 1HTWGAAT56J306377 in response to both questions about engine and truck identification. Regarding core handling, the government clarified that the broken core will be returned to the awarded contractor, eliminating the need for contractors to include a core fee in their pricing.
