About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the 773D Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska. The document does not address specific required products or services beyond clarification of bumper specifications. The procurement is a one-time supply buy with no incumbent contractor. Vendors are required to quote with a heavy-duty hitch receiver that increases towing capacity from 1,200 lbs to 1,500 lbs, as the government anticipates towing loads exceeding the stated 1,100 lb minimum and seeks extended equipment lifespan. Delivery is to 773D LRS LGRA, 15380 Airlifter Drive, JBER, AK 99506-3900. The document directs interested parties to SAM.gov for historical award information and previous vendor data, indicating this procurement may have prior award history, though the specific details are not provided within this Q&A document.

Questions and Answers
1. Clarify if you want the heavy duty hitch rear bumper? This increases the towing capacity from 1200lbs to 1500lbs. The RFQ states "Bumper: Heavy duty hitch receiver" but also states "Towing 1100lbs minimum" which would not require the hitch rear bumper.
Answer: Please quote with the Heavy-duty hitch receiver as the minimum we tow is 1100lb but will tow heavier weights and that hitch will increase the life span of the machines.
2. If there is a current incumbent for this contract.
Answer: This is a one-time supply buy requirement, there is no incumbent contractor.
3. The history of previous awards, including the award amount(s).
Answer: Previous award data can be found searching through SAM.gov.
4. The vendor(s) who were awarded in the past.
Answer: Previous award data can be found searching through SAM.gov.
5. Also I would like to know the ship to address for this request.
