Automated Scheduler Questions

- 1. What types of notifications are required (i.e., app based notifications, emails, or SMS)?

o SMS would be required, app based notification and personal emails are desired.

- 2. What level of detail is required in a calendar event/notification?

o Every notification would include date, time, location, required duty items and special instructions (if needed).

- 3. Are personal devices considered to be both mobile and desktop?

o Yes but preferably mobile devices as majority of people keep their mobile phones on them.

- 4. Will an ATO (Authority to Operate) be required?

o An ATO is required for solutions connecting directly to NIPR or hosted in hardware located on base network infrastructure. An ATO will not be required for solutions developed and hosted on a commercial webspace.

- 5. Does this solution need to be on-premised, or can it be cloud-based?

o Preferably on-premised.

- 6. What does your current calendar/scheduling system look like?

o I currently use/update an excel document on a daily basis for appointments. I email all my members to view this excel document.

- 7. The solicitation states that SFS is seeking a system that is "accessible across a spectrum of digital devices and public networks." Aside from being accessible on ABW's network and mobile devices (phone, tablet, laptops, etc.), are there any other networks or devices that would be included here?

o Personal phones, tablets, laptops, etc. is exactly what I am trying to execute.
