Local Marriage Care Retreat

Response to Questions

Q: Is there dates or a time-frame that you were looking at?

A: We do not have set performance dates for this requirement as the 673 ABW staff aren't sure when/ if they will have funding for the retreats. Retreats may be scheduled anytime within the 5 year period of performance, with the chapel staff giving at least 30 days' notice prior to an event, given that the contractor has the ability to accommodate a retreat during the requested period.

Q: What are the ideal dates in mind for the event?

A: Same as above.

Q: Are you requiring a promised rate for 5 years?

A: An initial pricing schedule will be submitted and approved by the Contracting Officer. At any time a price change may be requested by the contractor (i.e., in response to tourist season demands or other reasons), and must be approved by the CO.

Q: Are you able to tell us the requested dates/time of year the event will take place?

A: Future retreat dates cannot be determined with accuracy, due to not being able to predict when funds will be available. Retreats may be scheduled anytime within the 5 year period of performance, with the chapel staff giving at least 30 days' notice prior to an event, given that the contractor has the ability to accommodate a retreat during the requested period.

Q: What format would you like the description of amenities?

A: No specific format is required, but amenity descriptions should be organized in a logical manner, and somewhat detailed.

Q: Is the one week out booking a requirement?

A: The JBER Chapel Team will coordinate with the resort hotel management as needed for approval of retreat package and setup, giving no less than 30 days notice prior to the event.
