About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to a Federal Contract Opportunity for a Public Address (PA) System Upgrade. The federal contract opportunity has an estimated budget range of $25,000 - $100,000, with a target start date of 30 days after contract award. The PA system must meet sound requirements for a hangar environment with constant decibel noise, providing clarity for music and responses. All equipment must be Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant. The system requires 5 audio zones in offices with two control panels, as well as coverage for the aircraft hangar. The government will evaluate the best technical solution, not just the lowest price. The solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside Request for Quotation, with a site visit scheduled for 4 September 2024 and proposals due by 16 September 2024. The contracting agency is the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command.
