Q7: Will the fire Dept. require egress lighting for residents in the building while construction is being done?

Q8: What will be the breakdown on schedule of work? Will we have restrictions or requirements to complete the work in phases to maintain access?
A8: In order to keep adequate means of egress to the building only one stairwell will be allowed to be worked on at any given time. Contractor will ensure that all work is complete to provide usable access to the stairwell before moving onto the next stairwell.
Q9: Who will be responsible for security cameras? Will cameras need to be removed during construction and reinstalled after work is complete?
A9: The contractor will be responsible for the security cameras. Cameras in the stairwells will be moved as needed and placed in a new location to provide adequate visual coverage. See
Addendum #1 denoting requirements for this.
Q10: Will the security system/cameras need to be relocated as they are located on the wall where the new fan coil units are to be installed. Will the Government, or contractor be responsible for relocation?
A10: The security cameras in the stairwells being relocated are a responsibility of the contractor.
