MEMORANDUM FOR INDUSTRY
FROM: Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC)
SUBJECT: Rescue Instructional and Training Services (RITS) Market Research Industry Day and One-on-One Sessions
1. HQ ACC AMIC, HQ ACC TRSS, and 68th RQS will be hosting an open forum briefing on Wednesday, 13 Jun 18, in order to share information on the RITS requirement and gain Industry knowledge, perspectives, and capabilities. The Air Force is in the requirements and acquisition strategy development phases; therefore, the information from this Industry Day will be used to continue improving this documentation.
2. The Industry Day meetings will be conducted at the Marriot Tucson – University Park, 800 East Second St., Tucson, AZ 85719 in the Madera Room. Due to space limitations, please limit the number of individuals attending to four (4) individuals per company. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the open forum will begin at 9:00 a.m. See Attachment 1 for the agenda and list of speakers. There are ten (10) rooms blocked out under “Pararescue Industry Day” at the government rate ($93), available on a first-come basis.
3. During the open forum session we will respond to questions. If you have questions prior to the forum, please submit them in writing and mark anything you consider proprietary. At the conclusion of the event, all questions and the government’s answers will be posted to Federal BusinessOpportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov without publicizing the point of origination. Please send all questions to katharine.weimer.1@us.af.mil no later than 4:00 p.m.

4. Following the open forum session, individual meetings will be available for those interested in conducting a one-on-one session with the Government. The one-on-one sessions will also be held at the Marriot in the Ventana Room, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on 13 Jun 18, with carry over to 14 Jun 18, if required. Each individual meeting will be 50 minutes and is available by appointment on a first-come basis. The purpose of the one-on-one session is to answer questions and allow the Government to obtain specific feedback from your company’s representatives.
5. All requests to attend the Industry Day and/or to schedule a one-on-one session must be submitted via email to katharine.weimer.1@us.af.mil no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Monday, 4 Jun 18. Please use the title “[Company Name] – RITS Industry Day
Attendees” in the email subject line. In addition, please include the following information in your e-mail.
a. Name and address of company (include main telephone number and email, if any)
b. Cage code
c. DUNS number
d. Company size (small or large business)
e. Company’s anticipated role in RITS (prime or subcontractor)
f. Name of each individual attending, his or her contact number, and email address
g. Specify if attending open form and/or requesting a one-on-one session
6. We recommend you periodically check FedBizOpps for pertinent information. We intend to continuously provide updates and seek feedback on requirements, issues, strategies, and documentation. Please note the following documents have been posted thus far: Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), Small Business Capabilites request, Market Research questions, draft past performance relevancy criteria, and example schedules.
