About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA487726QA136 regarding a 355 Wing VTC (Video Teleconference) System Upgrade. The document addresses four key inquiries from industry regarding the solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.

The USAF confirmed that quotes are due 26 May 2026 with no extension to the five-day response period. A pre-solicitation site visit was conducted to gather input from both industry and USAF stakeholders, though the USAF did not provide additional information in response to inquiries about insufficient PWS details. The government clarified that contractors must provide a comprehensive quote for the complete VTC system upgrade as outlined in the attached PWS, not separate quotes for project management and engineering resources to be provided post-award. Award will be made on a best value basis, with non-price factors—specifically the period of performance, installation timeline, and training timeframe—weighted as significantly more important than price.
