Text version

1. Is there a Dark Skies compliant requirement?

Answer: No, we do not fall under this

2. Is the intent to have the contractor provide and install an electrical panel to provide overcurrent protection to the new lighting circuits?

Answer: Yes

3. If so, will the new electrical panel need to conform to the DMDCG for panel boards with copper bus, bolt‐in breakers, and Surge protection?

4. Is any switching required for the new lights?

5. The PWS, 1.1.1. Lighting Specifications state the following

* Light output: 39,108 Lumen UL Certified

* Energy Efficiency: 125 lumens/watt, 212 Watt

However, the numbers above don't compute. It’s either 184.5 lumens/watt or closer to a 320 Watt fixture. Can you please clarify?

Answer: It should be 39.108 lumens and 300 watts.
