About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details vehicle rental requirements for the 99th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base. The contractor must provide a diverse fleet of vehicles ranging from compact cars to 26' stake bed trucks, with specific delivery and pickup requirements at Nellis AFB and Harry Reid International Airport. Key requirements include providing vehicles no more than 2 years old, ensuring 24-hour support for vehicle issues, allowing multiple drivers at no additional cost, and permitting drivers as young as 18 with a valid DoD Common Access Card and state motor vehicle license.

The SOW outlines extensive vehicle condition standards, including functional mechanical components, proper registration, full fuel tanks, and minimal exterior damage. The vendor assumes risk for vehicle loss or damage under most circumstances, with specific exceptions for situations like fraud, illegal use, or operation by unauthorized drivers. The contract allows for multiple vehicle types and quantities to support scheduled exercise periods, with flexibility for changes up to 24 hours prior to intended use.
