Questions and Answers #1 for 561st JTS FMS Manuals – FA486118RC007

Question #1 - Reference the size standard on the 1449 of $15,000,000. Does that amount cover the 5 year contract (base plus four options) contract or does it include the 5-year contract plus the six-month extension?

Answer #1 – The size standard of $15,000,000 is a standard set by the Small Business

Administration to determine whether a company is a small business in the represented NAICS code. It does not pertain to the contract value.

Question #2 - Reference RFP paragraph 4.2.2: The Total Evaluated Price is the base year price plus all four option year prices as well as a six (6) month extension in accordance with FAR

52.217-8 - Option to Extend Services. However, there is not an exhibit provided for the six-month extension. What format and what units do we use for the six-month extension input?

Answer #2 - The Total Evaluated Price is the base year price plus all four option year prices as well as a six (6) month extension in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 – Option to Extend Services.

The six (6) month extension price will be derived by adding one half (1/2) of the last option year’s price. The RFP has been amended to reflect this information.

Question #3 - Page 7 of 64 in the RFP notes that CLIN 0001 has a period of performance of -1

Oct 2018 to 31 Aug 2019. The rest of the RFP and PWS state that the CLIN 0001 POP is 1 Oct

2018 to 30 Sep 2019. Which is correct?

Answer #3 – The period of performance for CLIN 0001 is antipicated to be 1 October 2018 to 30

September 2019. The RFP has been amended to reflect this information.
