About this file
This document is a Revised Description and Q&A for a federal contract solicitation for industrial filtration products organized into four Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs).
CLIN 0001 requires 15 each polyester prefilter blankets measuring 102" x 90" with 1-2 inches thickness, specified as Dual Denier (DD) or PPA media (DD309 or DD509 series). CLIN 0002 requires 45 cases of Method 319 compliant exhaust pads (900 total filters to fill 896 active slots), measuring 24" x 24" with tacky or multi-layered exhaust filter panel (MEPT) design, packaged 20 per case. CLIN 0003 specifies 150 cases of Method 319/NESHAP compliant 6-pocket bag filters (900 total filters), measuring 24" x 24" with 12-inch pocket depth, packaged 6 per case. CLIN 0004 requires 150 cases of pocket poly-carbon cube filters (900 total filters), measuring 24" x 24" x 24" (24-inch depth), packaged 6 per case. The Questions and Answers clarify that matching or compliant components from different manufacturers are acceptable provided Stage 3 filters meet or exceed Method 319 or Method 319 NESHAP testing standards. Previous vendors referenced include AFG and VES. The document confirms all Stage 2-4 filters are intended to fill 896 active filter slots, with vendors typically supplying 900 units based on standard packaging configurations.
