FA4855-18-R-0019 – Technical Questions & Answers

1. Electrical Bldg 1435

1. A. SOW 1.h. states to run conduit above suspended ceiling. The vestibule and lobby are hard ceilings - please advise on how you would like the conduit raceway installed in this area?

CE's response: Please refer to the updated Attachment 9 E001 B1435. From the security room 21 (As-built indicates this room was originally R111) install the conduit raceway above suspended ceiling and penetrate hard walls/ceilings according to the drawing. If this does not comply to code, please provide justifications.

2. B. The load centers located in Rm. 111 are indicated as our power source -are there available circuit breakers (CB), spares here /or/ open just spaces and the General Contractor (GC) is to provide the CB? Which panel are we to use as a branch circuit source? Can we get a copy of the panel label? What is the panel type (SqD, GE, Seimens, etc.)? What is the panel voltage and phasing?

CE's response: Use panel LZ which currently has two (2) CBs, please see attachment "Panel LZ," Panel type is Eaton, 208/120Y, 3PH 4W.

2. General Requirements - SOW Construction Deliverables para 3.

1. paragraph 3 states to provide stand-alone drawing files in a format compatible with AutoCAD 2010. Please confirm AutoCAD drawings are required for as-builts? Would PDF red line drawings be an acceptable alternative?

CE's response: Autocad drawings will be required per SOW and compatible with 2010, 2014, and 2016 will suffice. The drawings requested will only involve project scope, and CE currently has As-built drawings in pdf and CAD.
