About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing vendor inquiries regarding the setup and installation of a dive locker storage system.
The government requires all high-density mobile systems for both Team Gear Cabinets and Auxiliary Equipment Cabinets, though a fixed/modular cabinet system is acceptable if all salient characteristics are met. The facility has approximately 1,925 square feet of usable space (L55' x W35') for installation. Access to the installation site is via a garage door and driveway approximately 100 feet from the building entrance; no traditional loading dock is available. A Dayton Stacker forklift with a maximum lift capacity of 3,500 pounds will be available on-site, though the contractor assumes liability for any equipment damage. Floor protection is preferred but not explicitly required. No installation footprints or floor constraints have been provided to vendors at this time. The contractor should plan for equipment delivery and installation logistics based on these facility parameters.
