The contractor must provide drone service and training opportunities supporting a military training exercise scheduled for May 26-29, 2026, in South Georgia over designated Military Operating Areas (Moody 2 North and South MOAs and Hawg North and South MOAs). The exercise objective is Low & slow fixed wing UAS threat detection and targeting, with aircraft operating as red forces in dry, non-kinetic operations. Flying operations will be conducted for 2 x 2-hour periods each day during the four-day exercise window. The contractor must supply two Group 2 or Group 3 UASs with 7-15 foot wingspan and 9-15 foot length (or visually replicating a Shahed signature) that are already contractor-owned, not procured specifically for this contract. Aircraft must be capable of mimicking Shahed drone maneuvers and operating safely while being lased by a Litening Gen IV training laser (1.57 μm). Operating parameters include altitudes between 1,000-18,000 feet and speeds between 80-160 knots.

Specific contractor responsibilities include full-spectrum operation of the two aircraft, launch and recovery coordination, participation in mission planning with affiliated Mission Generation Force Elements, maintaining continuous communication with a designated planning cell POC, and ensuring the ability to reach designated MOAs from departure/landing locations. The contractor must acquire 14 CFR Part 107 Waivers or 49 U.S.C section 44807 exemptions and receive FAA approval prior to contract award, with mid-May 2026 as the expected timeline. UASs may be unmanned or manned as long as they meet size requirements.
