STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
FOR
INSTALLATION OF A VERTICAL RISE SCISSOR PLATFORM IN VEHICLE
MAINTENANCE BUILDING
Tyndall AFB, FL 32403

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The contractor shall provide product, materials and any required rental vehicles and/or equipment to install, test/certify 2 each Vertical Rise Scissor Platform vehicle lifts per industry standards. Additionally, that must provide all warranty documentation and required training.
2. WORK REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Vehicle Lift. The system shall include the following:
• Minimum 14,000-pound capacity
• Drive through capable with ramps on both ends (suitable for a standard sedan to be able to drive on and off)
• Distance between runways 40 inches
• Internal Air Kit
• Light kit to illuminate the entire under carriage of the vehicle
• Two each per lift: Rotary rolling bridge jack with 7,000 pound capacity.
• Air/hydraulic operation
• Runway length 198 to 216 inches
• Folding ramps with rear chocks
• Safety Tape Switches are required to protect technicians when raising and lowering
• Minimum raised height of 72.75 inches
• Maximum lowered height of 10.75 inches
• Power requirements 230 volts
• Installation, training and rental equipment fee must be included
• Warranty provided by company/industry standards
• The installation will be surface mounted.
2.2 On-Site Installation, Startup and Training.
The contractor will be responsible for offloading the equipment upon delivery. The contractor will perform the complete assembly of the vehicle lift, utilizing qualified installers.
INSTALLER(S) MUST BE CERTIFIED by the manufacture of the equipment so that the manufacture warranties are not voided, and the equipment is installed correctly. The contractor shall reference the installation/floor plan drawings in Appendix 1.
-The contractor shall perform initial startup and training.
-The contractor shall provide a Startup checklist.
3. WARRANTY
Vendors shall provide the Government with a warranty consistent with standard commercial practice. At a minimum, the contractor shall provide a 1-year warranty for parts and labor including installation.
4. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The contractor shall complete all requirements of this Statement of Work within 100 calendar days of contract award.
5. DELIVERY.
The contractor shall ensure delivery between 0700 and 1400 local time excluding holidays and weekends.
