FA481922Q0001 Q&As

1. What is the current contract/award number used for the execution of these services under the incumbent?

A: FA481920C0005

2. What was the award amount for the previously issued award?

A: Total Contract value: $348,600 as a base plus four option periods. However, this contract was awarded for leasing and servicing of the latrines. Leasing is not part of this new requirement.

3. Is it the governments intent as stated in the solicitation to own the portable toilets, and the contractor to simply service and move them as specified?

A: Yes, this contract is for servicing and relocating ONLY. Refer to the PWS for information on the Government provided portable latrines.

4. Why did the government not exercise available option years on current contract? Does the Government foresee the successful bidder having 4 option years?

A: It is the government's unilateral right not to exercise an option. The Government has decided to purchase their own units and pursue a servicing only contract. It is the Government's intent to award this requirement as a base plus four option period contract.

5. Is this solicitation for services and relocation only? Or does the company need to provide the latrines as well?

A: The solicitation is for servicing and relocation only. The company does not need to provide latrines.
