About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a Golf Cart Solicitation for the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. The document addresses two key technical requirements for the golf cart procurement. First, each golf cart will require MIL-STD-130 labeling because the unit cost exceeds $5,000. Second, the document clarifies the Department of Transportation (DOT) lighting system requirements, specifying that beyond standard headlights, taillights, and brake lights, the carts must also include left and right turning signal lights, roadside flashing lights, and a yellow flashing beacon light. These details suggest the procurement is for specialized golf carts with specific military and transportation standard compliance needs.
