Sunshade Questions

1. Is the 12” overhang, described in the statement of work, the same thing as the 12” rigid valance? If you can, please clarify each requirement.

The requirement is to keep rainwater runoff from falling onto the slab below.

2. The specification seems open to interpretation, would you rather a framed structure or a tensile structure?

The intent is to have a framed structure to match other canopies around the campus. The canopy structure will attach to the slab. There will be no additional foundations due to buried utilities crossing the site.
