About this file

This document contains a set of Questions and Answers related to a Hazardous Waste Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) solicitation, identified as FA481424TF084. The key details are:

The solicitation is for a Hazardous Waste BPA that includes analytical methods and parameters for proposed pick-up test samples, which require analysis for Aqueous Liquid Matrix, Solid Matrix, Paint waste organic liquids, Oils, POL's, and All Soil tests. There are 30 sample locations that require annual sampling, but the quantity of waste stream containers to be sampled varies across sites. The questions address whether separate line items can be included for field hourly rates, and the frequency of sampling at each location. The responses indicate that historically, field time has been included in the overall sampling cost, and that pre-calculating field hours per site is impractical due to unforeseeable variables.

Questions/Answers for Hazardous Waste – FA481424TF084

1. Can a separate line item be included for each of the sampling points for Field Hourly rate?

Historically sampling contractors have included field time into the sampling cost. No separate line item has been used to breakout costs to reflect field hours.

2. What is the frequency for each sample location? Based on quantities, they all differ from sample location to sample location, need to properly understand how many locations are to be collected per event to better calculate field hours.

There are 30 locations that require annual sampling. As stated, the quantity of waste stream containers to be sampled varies from site to site. Other unforeseeable variables make pre-calculating field hours per site impractical.
