EXTENSION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
AKIMA SUPPORT OPERATIONS, LLC,
AND
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MACHINISTS AND
AEROSPACE WORKERS, LOCAL LODGE NO.2915, AND ITS
DISTRICT LODGE NO. 166
This Extension Agreement is entered into by and between Akima Support Operations, LLC and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge No.2915, and its District Lodge No. 166 for the purpose of extending the duration of the Collective Bargaining
Agreement dated April 1, 2020 - March 31, 2023.
The Parties agree that the Collective Bargaining Agreement shall be extended through April 30, 2023, and will remain in effect through and including April 30, 2023, at which time it will expire unless the Parties extend its effective period beyond that date.

Tentative Agreement International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers
For a New Labor Agreement Commencing May 01, 2023
Tentative Agreement
General: The Agreement which is being amended is the labor agreement between the Company and the Union for the period ending April 30, 2023. Except as proposed to be amended the existing language is to remain in effect. Dates in the agreement not specifically addressed herein will be changed, as necessary to be consistent with the intent of the Parties.
1) Article 9 – Union Representation - Section 9.8 – Safeguarding of Steward Materials:
The Company will give priority scheduling for an adequate meeting room, currently the conference room in building 33, to conduct a private meeting and will have locking filing cabinets provided by the Union, to safeguard materials for the exclusive use of the Chief Steward/Designee, Shop Stewards, and Grievance Committee persons. The meeting room designation may change over time, depending on what rooms are made available by the Customer.
2) Article 14 – Wages – Section 14.3 – Lead Pay
In the event that the Company creates a new lead position, it agrees to meet with the Union to negotiate the wage rate. Lead pay will be 10% greater than the base classification wage rate.
3) Article 15 – Health and Welfare Benefits and Retirement – Section 15.1 – Health and Welfare Benefits:
H&W will increase $0.15 to $5.85 effective the first full pay period of May 2023 H&W will increase $0.10 to $5.95 effective the first full pay period of May 2024
4) Article 16 - Holidays – Section 16.1 – Recognized Holidays:
Juneteenth added to Holiday Schedule
5) Article 17 – Vacation – Section 17.3.2 – Vacation Leave Credit:
Vacation leave credited hours will accumulate during the Employee's annual vacation year up to a maximum of 120 144 hours of vacation leave (120 144 hours cap) in each annual vacation year.
When an Employee reaches the 120 144 hour cap and he is entitled to be awarded additional hours of vacation leave based on the annual vacation leave credits of Table 1-A in paragraph 17.4, the Employee shall be required to take vacation in an amount that would cause him not to exceed the 120 144 hour cap. If production requirements do not permit the Employee to take scheduled vacation that would reduce the vacation to the 120 144 hour cap, then the Company shall pay the Employee for all hours exceeding the 120 144 hour cap in the next pay period following the point in time that the cap is exceeded.
6) Article 18 – General - Section 18.4 – Employee Physicals:
Company directed work related physicals by a medical provider of the Company’s choosing occurring on or after the first day of employment shall be paid for by the Company. The company shall pay the employee the reasonable time to take such physicals at the employee’s regular straight time rate of pay. However, the Company shall have neither of those cost obligations for the employee to secure from his treating physician a writing reflecting the employee’s medical/physical restriction, rendered by the treating physician after having full knowledge of the duties of the employee’s job and his work environment. The company will make every effort to schedule physical examinations it directs during the employee’s normal work hours. The employee may choose to go to his own physician on his own time and will be responsible for any costs incurred.
7) Addendum A:
1) The following job classifications will receive a five-percent (5.00%) equity adjustment effective the first full pay period of May 2023:
• Fire Alarm Systems Technician
• HVAC Mechanic
• Emergency Management Control Systems Tech
2) All job classifications will receive a 4.00% wage increase effective the first full pay period of May
3) All job classifications will receive a 3.00% wage increase effective the first full pay period of May
8) Memorandum of Understanding:
To meet the mandatory requirements of the IAM National Pension Rehabilitation Program, the Company will contribute the following amounts to the IAM Pension, per employee, up to 40 hours per week:
June 3, 2023: $0.25 June 3, 2024: $0.32
9) Article 25: Duration
Except as is specifically otherwise provided herein, this Agreement shall become effective on April 1, 2020 May 1, 2023, and shall remain in effect until midnight on March 31, 2023 April 30, 2025, unless voluntarily modified or amended by mutual written consent of both parties. This agreement shall automatically renew itself from year to year thereafter unless written notice of desire to terminate the Agreement is given by either party at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to any annual expiration date thereafter. lf such written notice of desire to terminate is given, the parties may nevertheless mutually agree in writing to extend this Agreement for a specified length of time beyond the expiration. Said modifications or amendments to the Agreement may only be made by the approval and written mutual consent of the Union's Business Representative and the Company's Designated Representative subject to the bargaining authority granted to them by their respective parties. Such modifications are strictly voluntary in nature and neither party shall be obligated to modify any portion or portions of this Agreement against its wishes. Said modifications or amendments to any section or sections of this Agreement shall not constitute a re-opening of the entire Agreement. The parties agree that all Articles of this Agreement affecting wages, health and welfare benefits, and job security issues {disciplinary actions, layoffs and recalls)shall become effective immediately and shall be subject to the grievance procedure, The parties also understand that Articles of this Agreement not affecting said issues above may require the administrative development of resources (Company Seniority Lists, Department Seniority Lists, Overtime Lists, and Grievance Forms, etc. for use by the parties) in order to comply with the terms of this Agreement and shall be fully implemented not later than thirty (30) days after the effective date of this Agreement. During the interim thirty-day period, Representatives of both parties will mutually cooperate to implement all Articles of this Agreement (within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this Agreement and if any disputes should arise regarding good faith compliance, Representatives of both parties shall discuss the disputes and work to resolve these disputes in good faith during the interim thirty day period with regard to the spirit and intent of the language of the Agreement.
