1. Who is the current/previous contractor?
Value Facility Services, Inc. is the incumbent contractor
2. What is the current contract number?
FA481417PBS01 (Effective 9‐1‐2017 to 8‐31‐2022
3. What was the total monthly or yearly dollar value of the current contract?
The total contract value over the last 5 years is $122,960.00. No monthly or annual prices will be revealed.
4. Does the government have test equipment or is the contractor to provide dust measurement equipment?
Government does not have dust measurement equipment
5. If the space does not meet the required 100 micrograms of dust per cubic meter per 24 hour period or 500 micrograms of dust per cubic meter per 24 hour period. Will government allow for recleaning and testing?
Yes
6. What are the perimeters for the data center cleaning temperature and humidity?
Temp recommended operating range – 18 to 27 degree C (MAX)
Recommended Relative Humidity 45% to 65%
7. What is the height of the raise flooring for each data center and is there a restriction on the number of floor tiles that can be removed at one time. Is there a flow/pressure requirement that has to be maintained?
No raised floor
8. Are the Bulk containers only needed during cleaning cycles or are they to be used by others?
Is there a location designated for containers?
Only needed during cleaning – not by others – location is outside.
9. Racks inside and out, top and bottom and Cabinets inside and out, top and bottom. Are the cabinets locked?
Yes – unlocked as needed
10. Contractor will conduct cleaning between the hours of 0730 – 1500 Monday – Friday.
So if the cleaning takes several days to complete the government is okay with the schedule?
Cleaning normally takes 1 to 2 days, depending on the cleaning team size. Dates are always pre‐ coordinated to allow for escort.
11. Does the government require that all cloths and chemicals be approved prior to use?
Ensure all are in accordance with that outlined in contract.
12. Does the government require a secret or TSSCI clearance and if the contractors personal are cleared is an escort still required?
Escort will be required due to cabinets within center
13. Will the government allow the contractor access to measure the air sample prior to cleaning to compare to after cleaning test. And is the air testing just the ambient space or under the floor also?
Yes, but there is no raised floor.
14. If the air sampling has to be sent out for analyzing will the government allow for a delay in results?
Normally done by cleaning team = on premises/with no Bluetooth and or WIFI capabilities. Delay for results ‐ within reason.
