About this file

This document is a Vendor Questions and Answers file (FA480925Q0129) for a potential engine procurement or exchange opportunity involving Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB). The document contains three key questions and answers from a potential vendor regarding engine rebuilding and configuration. Key details include:

The vendor inquired about providing an old engine for rebuilding, to which SJAFB directly stated they cannot provide the current engine for refurbishment. The vendor also asked about remanufacturing the existing engine, which SJAFB explicitly rejected. Additionally, the vendor sought confirmation about an engine configuration through photos, and SJAFB confirmed that the engine in the vendor's photos was not the correct configuration. The document suggests SJAFB is seeking a specific type of engine replacement or exchange, though the exact technical specifications are not detailed in this Q&A document.
