STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Hazardous Materials Gas Detector Lease
1. SCOPE: Lease three (3) Hazardous Materials Gas Detectors (Manufacturer Part Number: VP5-RJYT4001111 or Equal), with all required tools, equipment and materials including desktop charger (1ea.), docking station (1 ea.), regulator (1 ea.) and gas cylinder (1 ea.) with wall mount (1ea.) Live Virtual Commissioning will be included that is Wi-Fi based which monitors equipment for defects as well as software upgrades. Any defective equipment will be replaced by vendor as needed.
2. EQUIPMENT:
2.1 Detectors will be capable of the following:
2.1.1 Monitor at least 5 gases with a wide range of sensor options which MUST include LEL (Pentane), O2, H2S, and VOC/PID, The gas detectors may also include LEL (Methane), Cl2, CO, CO2, HCN, NO2, NH3, PH3, SO2 detection.
2.1.2 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery with a minimum 12 hour run capacity with pump use
2.1.3 Must have backlight LCD screen
2.1.4 Case must be available in a high visibility (subjective) orange, lime green, or yellow color
2.1.5 Must be capable of operating in temperature range of -40 F to 122 F
2.1.6 Include audible (95dB at 30cm), visual alarms (ultra bright LEDs), and vibrating alarm with the ability to select alarm thresholds and latch alarms, and disable instrument shutdown while in alarm
2.1.7 Able to transition seamlessly from personal monitoring to confined space capable with a pump and sample tubing designed for confined space entries/monitoring (integral or slide-on)
2.1.8 Meet usage data, calibration reporting and maintenance information as stated in section 4 below
2.2 Chargers/Docking station will be desktop variety and must be cloud-connected for Live Virtual Commissioning service provided by contractor to monitor equipment for defects and software upgrades.
Compatible docking stations will be able to automatically perform bump tests, calibrate, charge and upload gas detector data each time a detector is docked.
2.4 Regulator will be demand w/switch at 25psi, 0-3LPM, CGA-C10, Male connection
2.5 Cylinder with calibration gas, 25ppm Hydrogen Sulfide, 100ppm Carbon Monoxide, .35% Pentane (25%LEL), 18% Oxygen, Aluminum, 116L
3. LEASE: All equipment will be leased, service will cover detector maintenance, repair, shipping and handling, unlimited calibration gas replacement, docking stations, installation and training at a minimum.
4. EXCHANGE SUBSCRIPTION and CLOUD SERVICE: The system will notify users that gas monitors need to be evaluated for replacement, automatically send a replacement gas monitor and calibration gas as determined by the system. The Cloud service will be capable of uploading data logs and usage analytics.
5. CALIBRATION GAS: One Gas Cylinder will be provided as well as unlimited replacement as needed.
6. TRAINING: A training class will be provided after delivery and setup on the use of all equipment.
7. REPLACEMENT: Detectors will be replaced by company when any malfunction of operation is detected, either by user or through the subscription/cloud service connection detected.
8. LOCATION: All equipment will be delivered to 2020 Jabara Ave., Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Goldsboro, NC. 27531 (building number 4601).
