MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
FROM: 4 CONS/PKB
1570 Wight Brothers Ave Goldsboro, NC 27531-2456
SUBJECT: Bldg. 3010 Site Visit Notes
Question 1: Please clarify which systems need to be replaced/added, and the purpose of these upgrades.
Answer 1: The existing two (2) units of GB-50A-A need to be replaced with one (1) TE-50 and one (1) TE-200A. This replaces the controllers with their newer versions. The purpose in making these upgrades is to update the system to allow for better compatibility with newer laptops and enable remote monitoring and control. The Statement of Work will be revised to clarify the work being done. Current Setup is also pictured below.
Question 2: What does integration to campus mean?
Answer 2: Integration to campus will include programing all addresses. All addresses must be verified and operational.
Question 3: How many addresses need to be programmed?
Answer 3: All addresses on the drawings need to be programmed. The drawings will be provided to the awarded contractor. There are an estimated 80 addresses to program.
Question 4: After addresses are programmed, it will then connect to Schneider system with an Ethernet cable. Schneider has indicated there will be a lot of programming, etc. that needs to be performed for this system to be visible/monitored by the base Schneider system. Please confirm if this programming is a part of this requirement.
Answer 4: No, programming of the Schneider system is not included under this requirement.
Only address programming, and connection to Schneider System with an Ethernet cable needs to be accomplished. The contractor should use Mitsubishi programming and maintenance software to verify operation after the change out is complete.
