About this file
This document is a set of Requests for Information (RFI) and Responses related to a federal contract opportunity for the installation of a new Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS) at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. The RFIs cover various technical details such as availability of scaled drawings, ceiling type, cable trays, use of existing wiring, UPS requirements, equipment substitutions, wiring specifications, access to the work site, and equipment list. The responses provided clarification on these technical aspects, referenced the Statement of Work for additional details, and indicated that a pre-proposal site visit was encouraged for prospective offerors. The federal contract opportunity is a competitive acquisition with a funded requirement for the provision of material, equipment, and labor to install the new Vindicator systems. Progress payments are not authorized, but contractors may invoice for individual contract line items upon Government acceptance.
