About this file
This is a Revised Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a custom technology conference table project (Contract FA480326Q0052) for the Wing Operations Center at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.
The contractor must design, fabricate, deliver, and install a custom 15-foot by 7-foot technology conference table accommodating eleven operator positions in a U-shaped configuration. Key technical requirements include: a high-pressure laminate work surface minimum 1.25 inches thick with integrated cable entry openings; a heavy-duty welded steel frame providing structural rigidity; eleven electronically controlled height-adjustable work surfaces allowing sit-stand transitions; eleven motorized monitor lift systems with 30 lbs minimum capacity each, featuring hinged lids and flip-up access panels for government-provided 27-inch monitors; integrated power and data infrastructure with minimum two 120V outlets and two data network ports per station; comprehensive cable management including dynamic cable chains and segregated power/data routing; and individual CPU storage enclosures (20"H x 9"W x 22"D) with passive or active ventilation at each position. The baseline design specifies a Viva Walnut work surface finish and Black base/enclosure finish, though the government will select final colors from contractor standard options. Delivery and installation must be completed within 120 days of contract award at Shaw Air Force Base, Building 1122. The contractor provides standard warranty coverage for manufacturing defects and mechanical components, performs work Monday-Friday 0700-1600 (excluding federal holidays), coordinates with site points of contact, assumes responsibility for power distribution and debris removal, and maintains compliance with base access requirements and security protocols. The government provides four dedicated 120V/20A electrical circuits at the table location.

Revised Performance Work Statement (PWS)
Project: WOC Conference Table
FA480326Q0052
1.0 SCOPE
1.1. Introduction: This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of a custom technology conference table for the Wing Operations Center within the Command Post area. The contractor shall provide all necessary resources to deliver a complete and fully functional system.
1.2. Deliverables: The project includes the development of a custom 15-foot by 7-foot technology table.
1.3. ATTACHMENTS: The following documents are attached to and are a formal part of this Performance Work Statement:
• Attachment 1: Technical Drawings & Renderings
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS & DRAWINGS
2.1. Baseline Design: The technical drawings and renderings attached to this PWS illustrate the baseline requirements and conceptual design. Contractor proposals should meet or exceed the functionality depicted. While these drawings provide a conceptual basis, contractors may propose alternative solutions that meet or exceed the performance requirements.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1. General System Description: The contractor shall engineer, deliver, and install a custom technology conference table with overall dimensions of approximately 15 feet (L) x 7 feet (W). It must accommodate eleven (11) individual operator positions in a U-Shaped configuration. The configuration must be ergonomically designed to maximize operator sightlines, equipment accessibility, and comfort for extended operational shifts.
3.2. Work Surface: The work surface shall be a durable high-pressure laminate (HPL) material, a minimum of 1.25 inches thick. It must feature integrated cable entry openings for each workstation.
3.3. Frame & Substructure: The table shall be supported by a heavy-duty, welded steel frame and substructure providing the structural rigidity required to support all integrated equipment, moving components, and personnel loads without flex or vibration.
3.4. Operator Workstations & Height Adjustability: The table shall support eleven
(11) individual operator positions. Each position must include an independent, electronically controlled height-adjustable work surface to allow operators to transition between sitting and standing. Controls for height adjustment shall be located at each respective workstation.
3.5. Motorized Monitor Lift Systems: In addition to the height-adjustable surfaces, each station shall include one (1) Motorized Monitor Lift System for a retractable government-provided 27-inch monitor. Each lift must have a minimum weight capacity of 30 lbs and include a hinged lid that creates a flush work surface when retracted. The individual retractable monitor sections must be equipped with flip-up access panels to provide concealment storage when monitors are not deployed.
3.6. Power and Data Integration: Each of the eleven (11) operator positions shall include integrated access to electrical power and data network connectivity. The contractor's solution must provide a minimum of two (2) 120V power outlets and two (2) data network ports at each station. The specific components shall be detailed in the contractor's production drawings for government approval.
3.7. Cable Management: A comprehensive cable management system shall be integrated to conceal and route all cabling. This system must include features such as dynamic cable chains for moving components (like height-adjustable surfaces), concealed pathways within the substructure, and segregated routing for power and data cabling to prevent signal interference.
3.8. Equipment Storage: Each operator position shall include an integrated enclosure for CPU storage with minimum internal dimensions of 20" H x 9" W x 22" D. Each enclosure must incorporate passive or active ventilation to prevent heat buildup.
4.0 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE
The equipment shall be delivered to and installed at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina (ACC), Building 1122.
5.0 MANUFACTURING & FINISH
5.1. Finish: The final color and finish for all surfaces will be selected by the government from the contractor's standard available options. The baseline design specifies a 'Viva Walnut' equivalent work surface and a 'Black' equivalent base/enclosure finish.
6.0 DELIVERY
The Contractor shall deliver the completed system to: Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina (ACC), Building 1122. All logistics coordination shall comply with base access and delivery requirements.
7.0 INSTALLATION
7.1. Site Coordination: The contractor shall coordinate all installation activities with the site Points of Contact (POCs).
7.2. Government-Provided Utilities: The government will provide four (4) dedicated 120V/20A electrical circuits at the table location. The contractor is responsible for all power distribution within the table and for final connection.
7.3. Debris Removal: The contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of all installation-related debris.
8.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. Delivery and installation shall be completed within 120 days after contract award.
9.0 WARRANTY. The Contractor shall provide a standard warranty covering manufacturing defects and mechanical components for a minimum period specified in the contract agreement.
10.0 HOURS OF OPERATION
11.1. Normal Hours: The contractor shall perform services MON-FRI 0700-1600, excluding federal holidays. With prior approval from the Contracting Officer, extended hours may be worked to ensure timely completion at no additional cost to the government.
11.2. Recognized Holidays: The contractor is not required to provide service on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
11.0 GENERAL INFORMATION
11.1. Re-performance of Service: When service performed does not conform to contract requirements, the contractor shall re-perform the service in conformity with specifications at no additional cost to the government.
11.2. Government Remedies: The contracting officer shall follow FAR 52.212-4(a), Inspection and Acceptance Clause, for the contractor's failure to perform satisfactory services.
