About this file

This document is a Contractor Questions and Answers response for a federal solicitation regarding bowling ball return equipment replacement.

Solicitation FA480326Q0032, titled "UFR#24 Bowling Ball Return," is a new requirement for the removal and replacement of specific equipment at a facility rather than a recompete of an existing contract. There is no incumbent contractor associated with this scope of work. While the existing ball return systems are manufactured by QubicaAMF, the solicitation does not impose brand name requirements, allowing contractors to propose any equipment meeting the technical specifications in the Statement of Work. A critical requirement is that the new ball returns and masking units must be fully compatible and integrate seamlessly with the existing Brunswick pin systems currently in use at the facility. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the proposed solution is fully operational within that existing framework and for handling all integration and compatibility issues.
