About this file
This document contains a set of Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to a federal contract solicitation. The Q&A addresses three key points: (1) Unit Price composition, which must include all associated costs such as insurance, truck expenses, mileage, and markup, with no additional payment mechanisms; (2) clarification on supplies and materials, where the contractor will coordinate with the government to identify required materials, and the government will provide those materials; and (3) contract award details, indicating an intent to award to 2-3 contractors with a site visit for each project to allow contractors to propose estimated hours for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN).

Text version
1. For the Unit Price, does that include everything such as insurance, truck expenses, milage, markup or is the Unit Price just the labor price?
Include all costs associated as there will be no other mechanism for you to be paid for the expenses mentioned.
2. In the first paragraph on the Statement of Objectives, the last line states “The Government will provide supplies and materials to perform the requirements under this statement”. The first line says for the Contractor to provide the supplies and materials for the projects. Can you expand on that to what you will be providing?
Apologies for the confusion. The contractor will coordinate with the Government to identify all required supplies and materials for each project and the Government will provide said supplies and materials.
3. How many Contractors will you be awarding this contract and if there are more than one will be bidding for each project?
We intend to award to 2-3 contractors and hold a site visit for each project to allow each contractor to propose their estimated number of hours for each CLIN.
