B922 Carpet Removal and Installation

Questions and Answers

1. Is there baseboard that needs to be removed and replaced?

No baseboard to be replaced, all existing baseboard is wood and shall remain in place

2. What type of flooring is being removed? Is it full sheet carpet or carpet squares?

Carpet squares to be removed and replaced

3. Is this project on a single floor/level, or are there multiple steps?

Single level, except for steps leading into the facility

4. Is there a dumpster on site, or will we need to provide one? Are we responsible for disposal, and if so is there room for a dumpster on site?

Contractor will need to furnish dumpster, there will be space available near the side door to the building

5. Are we responsible for moving anything? i.e. desks, furniture, etc?

Some furniture items will need to be moved, amounts are approx.

40 stackable tables 200 stackable chairs 6 couches, 6 chairs, 8 coffee tables 4 office desks and chairs

6. Is the existing cove base to be removed and replaced? If so, would you prefer Rubber or wood base?

Existing cove base is wood and shall remain

7. Will the raised Stage Area need new nosing’s?

No, stage area will be removed prior to carpet installation

8. What is the extent (quantity) of the furniture relocate and replace? Desks, tables, chairs, personnel items, etc?
