MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 20 CONS/LGCAA

SUBJECT: Questions and Answers For Solicitation FA4803-14-R-0015: Water Sampling

1. Are the TCL VOCs listed in section CLIN 0002 groundwater or drinking water? If there are both groundwater and drinking water samples, what percentage of each will there be?

Answer: It is both ground and drinking water. We test for VOC's monthly at three of our wells, and we have three sampling points at each well (9 total test per month). The first is sampled straight from the ground water, the second is after treatment from our air strippers, and the third is after treatment, but prior to entering the distribution system.

2. In section CLIN 0001, does “Fecal coliform/total coliform, SM 9223B Colilert” refer to both analyses being performed on a sample, or should our pricing reflect the cost for one test or the other?

Answer: Yes, it is both analyses. I don't think the cost should be significantly different. The fecal coliform test is just running a UV light over the total coliform test, so it should not really incur much additional.
