1. Is this job going to be carpet cleaning or also tiles?

2. This requirement includes both Carpet and Tile: As provided in statement of work.

3. Will any furniture need to be moved out of the way?

Furniture movement if needed is the responsibility of user owner. Each section in Bldg. 29 is required to move furniture.

4. Is there a preferred method of carpet cleaning?

STD Industrial Steam Cleaning

5. Clarify Offer to Instruction (what should be included in submitted quote page's)?

All documentation that can be provided has been included with the solicitation.

6. Type of Carpet & Tile? (example: commercial grade, shagg, etc... & lanolium, ceramic, etc...) Carpet is commercial grade carpet. Tile is standard 12 x 12 tile and indoor brick facing tile.

7. Is this a one-time Saturday cleaning? Or is this a continuous cleaning for a certain period of time?

This is a one time contract for the duration it takes to clean the carpets in Bldg 29.

8. How long is the contract for?

This is a one time contract for the duration it takes to clean the carpets in Bldg 29.

9. Will a different section of the carpet/tile cleaned each Saturday until the job is completed?

Multiple days may be required depending on number of crews working. Weekdays – Bldg. has heavy traffic and carpet may not have time to dry correctly.

10. What fiber type are the carpets made of?

Unknown, can be assessed by contractors during site visist.

11. Are the stairs to the second floor included in the cleaning? If so, are they tile or carpet? Stares are included in square feet. They are brick tile.

12. Can an entire floor be cleaned in one day or does the cleaning have to be done by specific sections to give opportunity to prepare the area? Preferred weekend. Multiple days may be required depending on number of crews working. Weekdays – Bldg. has heavy traffic and carpet may not have time to dry correctly.

13. Does the area have ventilation available for drying or can blower fans be left to dry the area out overnight? Blower fan should be effective to allow to be on overnight.
