The following are workload projections for ambulance response/coverage. The mission of Holloman AFB is scheduled to change from the current F-22 mission to F-16s beginning in March of 2012, and this change will generate a higher demand for ambulance response/coverage. The F-16 fighter jet is an older aircraft compared to the F-22, therefore, the Government anticipates the number of IFEs will increase.

In-Flight Emergencies

Monthly average 8-10

Monthly average for in-flight emergencies requiring actual medical care 4-5
