Are there any wage rate requirements?

To ascertain if a contract is subject to the SCA (Service Contract Act), numerous condi ons need to be fulfilled. Primarily, the contract's total value, encompassing both services and supplies, must surpass $2,500. The contract must also be performed within the United States. The principal purpose of the contract should revolve around services, with a considerable por on (exceeding 10%) of these services being carried out by "service employees," excluding "exempt" employees such as execu ves, professionals, administra ve, and computer employees.

If the value a ributed to services in the contract surpasses 50%, it implies that the main objec ve of the contract pertains to services. However, it's important to note that the "primary purpose" determina on lacks a universal formula and requires careful evalua on. Lastly, no exemp ons specified in FAR 22.1003-4 and 22.1003-5 should apply for the contract to be subject to the SCA.

Can a bid pricing sheet be provided?

We are following FAR Part 13 for Simplified Acquisi on Procedures to procure supplies and services due to the project's low-value nature. While we know the bid pricing sheet provides detailed pricing informa on, we are not evalua ng compe ng proposals under FAR Part 15.

We kindly request a Request for Quote (RFQ) to gather price quota ons from poten al suppliers or contractors for the specified goods or services. Please include the following in the RFQ:

1. Detailed descrip ons of required items

2. Any applicable specifica ons

3. Quan es

4. Delivery schedules

The RFQ primarily focuses on price, assuming the quality requirements and specifica ons are met. Just as a reminder, the bid pricing sheet is for poten al contractors to respond to RFPs, while the RFQ is a request for price quota ons from suppliers or contractors.

Are all the VAV boxes reachable by ladders?

Yes
