Salient Characteristics

Required items for the Youth Center School Bus:

1. 77 passenger capacity

2. Hydraulic Brakes (Air Brakes require an endorsement on a commercial driver’s license)

3. Front, Mid Ship, and rear heaters

4. Fire retardant seat bottoms and covers.

5. 100 Gallon Fuel Tank

6. Interior and Exterior LED Lighting

7. Tinted Windows

8. 120K Rooftop A/C

9. High Idle Switch

10. Air Ride Drivers Seat

11. Gasoline powered bus because the Youth Center does need the extra power a diesel bus provides. Gas busses cost less, are cheaper to operate and maintain, don’t gel up in the winter, and eliminates the need for a DEF system.

12. Automatic Transmission
