MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 28CONS/PKA

SUBJECT: Additional Questions/Comments and Responses to Solicitation FA469025Q0006- Nitrogen & Helium Gas Bottles BPA.

1. This amendment is to document questions/comments and responses for FA469025Q0006- Nitrogen & Helium Gas Bottles BPA.

2. The following are the questions and answers are:

a. Is there an incumbent supplier for this solicitation?

Answer: Yes, Airgas USA LLC is currently the supplier for this requirement.

b. Have there been any performance challenges or areas for improvement identified in previous contracts that have influenced the requirements for this bid?

Answer: No. There hasn’t been any performance issues or challenges. The contract is being resolicited because it’s nearing its expiration.

c. What is Unique item Identifier?

Answer: Basically, a UII is like a special ID number that's assigned to an individual item.

Think of it like a serial number, but it's used specifically by the government and here's why they matter to you as a contractor: Tracking: The government uses UIIs to track items throughout their entire lifecycle – from when they're purchased to when they're disposed of. This helps prevent loss, theft, and ensures accountability. Inventory Management: UIIs make it easier for the government to manage their inventory. We can quickly see what we have, where it is, and what condition it's in. In this case, UII does not apply to this requirement. Please leave it blank.

3. The due date for response has been extended from 3pm MST, 20 March 2025 until 3pm MST, 24 March 2025
