About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for supplying helium and nitrogen gas bottles to Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota for the Cold Spray Process. The contractor must provide four 12-packs each of helium and nitrogen gas cylinders to Building 7502, with specific technical specifications: helium and nitrogen gases must be industrial grade (99.995% pure), with precise purity and moisture constraints. Size K bottles with 219 cubic feet volume at 2000-2400 PSI are required, and the contractor is responsible for delivery, placement on designated manifold sides, on-site inspection, and removal of used gas packs.

The solicitation (FA469025Q0006) is issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive labor, materials, equipment, and transportation for gas bottle delivery. Contractor technical personnel must be certified to perform deliveries, and they will be responsible for complete management of gas bottle replacement, including proper connection and placement within the specified building. The SOW emphasizes precise technical requirements and operational expectations for gas supply support at the military installation.
