Amendment to Solicitation FA4690-20-Q0032 for

Rushmore Center A/V Upgrade

This amendment includes all questions/comments and responses generated from the site visit on

15 June 2020, at 1:00 pm MST, and other interchanges with interested parties.

Question 1: “A licensed electrician will be needed to hardwire the new screen during installation, will this be completed during installation?”

Response 1: Government can coordinate with Civil Engineering on base to see if they can accommodate, or Contractor may provide licensed electrician to perform the work.

Q2: “Will a KVM switch be needed for the podium to switch between commercial internet and

NIPR/SIPR network?”

R2: Government will provide the necessary KVM switch to be used.

Q3: “Are there any pictures, blue prints, or drawing to look at?”

R3: Photos of the conference room are attached. There are no blueprints or drawings available.

(Photos may be seen in the file.)

Q4: “Can I get the room dimensions to calculate screen size? (The current screen submitted is

16:9, but the projector submitted is 16:10) Was this intentional?”

R4: Dimensions are 35’ from main door to rear wall and 34’ in width. There were no intentions behind variation of screen/projector image size, these were the salient characteristics of the recommended equipment.

Q5: “Is it a drop ceiling? Ceiling height?”

R5: It is a partial drop ceiling, as seen in the photos. Ceiling height is 109” from floor.

Q6: “Can the speakers, projector, and screen be safely secured to something above the ceiling?”

R6: Yes

Q7: “Is the podium going to basically be permanently in the same spot all the time?”

R7: Yes

Q8: “Is there conduit to the podium with a floor box?”

R8: There is conduit to the podium from the floor, but not known if a box exists. Conduit can be seen in photos.

Q9: “the Crestron AMP-1200-70 has been discontinued. Will you have an addendum for that or do you just want everyone to give you an equal?”

R9: All requested items are “or equal” items. As long as the equal item meets or exceeds the standards.

No further questions/comments or responses have been presented at this time.
