About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for a Large Air Compressor System. The RFI contains questions and answers regarding the specifications of the existing compressors, such as breaker size, electrical ratings, hours of operation, and the duration the compressors have been down. The key details gathered from the RFI include:

The contract opportunity is for the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, with a solicitation number of FA468624Q0523. The government is seeking a contractor to replace the existing large air compressor system. The new compressors must meet or exceed the capacity and specifications of the current units, including being oil-less, providing the required PSIG and CFM capacity, and having the ability to cool and dry the air before entering the building plumbing. The government will provide a forklift and operator to assist with loading and unloading the equipment. The expected project completion date is one month from the date of award, though the contractor's proposed period of performance is requested. A site visit is scheduled for August 29th, 2024, and interested parties must submit an Escort Approval Letter by August 27th, 2024.
