Questions and Answers : Test Examiner

1. We can see right away we will need to provide individuals who can attain access to the base. Does this require that our company have a Facility Securities Officer (FSO), or other in-house security requirement? Or can this simply be attained on a case-by-case basis per individual? – If the conractor does not have on-base access via a retired military ID or dependent ID card, a DBIDS card will be issued. Member must not have any negative actions on their record that would prevent on-base access. The DBIDS card requires an annual renewal.

2. The document we received states, “Appropriate related professional work or volunteer experience of at least one year in Air Force Education and Training programs within the least 3 years is desirable. Knowledge of/experience with standardized education and military testing/computer-based testing is required. Knowledge of/experience with Air Force terminology, office procedures, education programs, and familiarity/facility with Microsoft Office is highly desirable.” Are these hard requirements, or would you be willing to accept comparable experience from the private sector, as well familiarity with DoD/Air Force? - Comparable testing experience in the civilian sector may suffice, depending on the length of experience and knowledge of testing protocol.

3. Can you please confirm that relatable professional work experience satisfies the requirement for Air Force Education and Training programs experience? – Relatable professional work experience could satisfy this requirement, depending on the extent of the experience.

4. Can you please confirm we would need a resume at the time of submission for this opportunity? – Yes, a resume is required at the time of submission.

5. Is there any contractor currently performing this service? – No, previous contract number is FA468619PA058.

6. What is the anticipated award date? – 1 October 2024

7. How many people are required to perform under this contract? – 1

8. Please confirm if this requirement is a full-time or part-time position? – Part Time. See PWS.

9. Does the contractor employee need to travel to attend training/seminar overseas? – No.

10. Is it mandatory for the company to demonstrate prior experience similar to the project requirements, or is it acceptable for the company to provide a candidate with the requisite experience? Testing experience must be reflected on the member’s resume.

11. Can we replace the Candidate resume after the proposal submission? No.

12. Please confirm if the referred training is for the contractor employee (test examiner)? Yes.

13. If yes, please confirm if the contractor employee (test examiner) must have the Test Security training / Air University TCO Training prior the start of the contract? The Test Examiner will complete the required during the performance of the contract.

14. Does the Test Security training / Air University TCO Training certificate must be submitted upon proposal submission? No, the required training will be complete during the performance of the contract.

15. Test Security training / Air University TCO Training must be completed during the performance of this contract? If so, does the training will be held on base, Beale AFB? Required training will be completed at Beale AFB during the performance of the contract.

16. Will there be a training cost? If so, who will cover the cost? There is no cost to training.

17. To what extent will academic transcripts be required, and will a photocopy of a diploma meet this requirement? A photocopy of the diploma will suffice.

18. Will Beale AFB require work samples or references in addition to the proposed Test Examiner resume and transcripts for this RFQ? A resume with references will suffice.

19. Will Beale AFB require a narrative response to this RFQ, or will completing fields in the RFQ Test Examiner document and attaching the proposed Test Examiner resume and transcripts satisfy the RFQ requirements? A narrative response is not required. Must complete RFQ and send in appropriate documentation.

20. What is the preferred submission method for this RFQ (email, upload, etc.)? Email.
