About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a trailer mounted air cooled chiller solicitation. The solicitation is for a 20-ton trailer mounted chiller with an internal pump and freeze protection package from the manufacturer. Acceptable refrigerants are 134a, 410A, or 545b. Storage and containment for hoses and conductors is required. Freeze protection for internal chiller components and piping between the pump and chiller must be provided. Insulation of piping between the pump and chiller is also expected. A motor starter, rather than a variable frequency drive, will control the pump. The solicitation number is FA4661-24-Q-0004 and is being issued by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command.
