SUBJECT: Solicitation FA4661-10-T-0037, Construct Fence at Child Development Center Site visit Questions and answers
1. The following questions were submitted to our office immediately following the site visit that was held on September 14, 2010.
Question 1: In the Scope of Work Section 1.2, it references a map of the area of brush that needs to be cleared and the outline of the fence but there is no map included, can you post this to
FBO?
Answer: Yes, map is attached to this document.
Question 2: Approximately what is the length of the required fence in linear feet?
Answer: The approximate linear feet of required fence is 1,050 LF.. However, all measurements must be verified by the prospective contractors.
Question 3: The Scope of work references attached drawings of the concrete footer but there are no drawings attached, can you post this to FBO?
Answer: Yes, drawing is attached reflecting the footer, rebar and fence post.
Question 4: What is the size of the fence post and is a top cross post required?
Answer: All the measurements of the posts and cross rails shall be assumed as standard size as required for a 4 foot, 9 guage fence that is specified in the statement of work and a top cross rail is required.
Question 5: In section 1.2 of the statement of work it references the clearing of brush, how much brush needs to be cleared and should the brush be grubbed out or just cut down?
Answer: The actual amount of brush that needs to be cleared is not measured and shall be referenced by the attached illustration, the statement of work has been revised to include grubbing out the brush.
