Questions and Answers ‐ FA4659‐16‐R‐0005 – 25 July 2016

Q1. CLIN 0006AE, Airfield Striping with Beads, has a Linear Foot unit of measure. Due to the varying width of marking applied to an airfield (anywhere from 4” to 36” and upward), shouldn’t this unit of measure be in Square Feet for the base and all option years?

A1. Yes, this unit of issue should be square foot rather than linear feet. It has been changed by amendment 0001.

A2. Yes, this unit of issue should be square foot rather than linear feet. It has been changed by amendment 0001.

Q3. CLIN 0006AE and CLIN 0006AF (and subsequent Years) Airfield Striping indicates 300,000 LF for both.

Per the SOW, section 5.10 and Technical Exhibit 2H (Specification for Airfield Pavement Marking) there are various markings that are required with various widths. Should these be priced per lineal foot or square foot? i.e. some markings are 36” wide compared to marking that are 6” wide. Please advise on how we are to price these line items. On past Protective Coatings projects that we have proposed on there are separate pricing for the different widths of markings as they can vary from 4” to 72”.

Q4. Will the site visit attendees be posted to fbo.gov?

A4. A site visit was held on 14 July 2016. There were no contractor attendees.
