Text version

1. 1) Who is to provide network switches needed to power and operate the new cameras? It appears to be Government responsibility per 6.1.5 of the doc. The Gov’t will provide network switches.

1. a. If integrator, what are the specs required by Government, both model and abilities. Not applicable since Gov’t is providing switches

1. 2) Who is responsible for maintaining and programming these network switches during and following installation? Is there maintenance and programming required if the Gov’t is providing the switches? If so, how often and provide pricing.

1. 3) I see the desire to have (4) separate Network Video Recorders but they appear to be the workstations for viewing cameras (one for each building). Or are these to be NVR servers, one per building? Each building requires a standalone monitoring system with the capability of recording and storing 30 days worth of footage. It is my understanding that NVR’s store the footage for 30 days. These standalone systems will not be on our base network servers.

1. 4) As to the (2) monitors, it’s vague on how they will be used. Do we need (2) workstations with the viewing software installed to view so they don’t have to be in the immediate vicinity of the NVR’s typically mounted in the data closets Yes.
