About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Long Term Bucket Truck Rental solicitation (FA462625Q0013) issued by the Department of the Air Force for Malmstrom AFB. The solicitation is for a lease of a bucket truck with a base year and four optional years, with an estimated delivery date of 9 May 2025. Key specifications include a truck with a 55-65 foot reach, 4WD capability, and a double man bucket, to be procured as a firm fixed-price contract.

The Q&A document clarifies several important contract details: Civil Engineering will handle maintenance at local service centers, invoicing will be monthly through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), and the pricing should include rental charge, delivery, and maintenance in a single figure. The contract is a new project with no incumbent, and option years will be exercised through formal notification. Vendors can submit quotes via email, with specifications detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and the truck must meet specific operational and maintenance requirements verified upon delivery.
