Questions & Answers for Solicitation FA4626-24-Q-0045:

Q: Regarding the Controls and on-site power to be provided by GOVT, will the contractor need to provide the variable frequency drive (VFD)?

A: Manufacturer to provide stand, VFD control panel and power cables from VFD to evaporator.

Q: Must the lagoon evaporator be brand name specific? If so, please provide an exact brand name and/or make/or model.

A: No, the evaporator need only comply with the statement of work.

Q: SHALL THE LAGOON EVAPORATOR BE LAND BASED OR FLOATING BASED?

A: As stated in the statement of work, the evaporator will be placed in the Lagoon.

Q: What is the – water volume, water type or quality, location of lagoon, dimensions of lagoon?

A: We desire to evaporate at least 300,000 gallons per lagoon during the summer months, The water is dilute black water, containing human waste, The location is near Bowman’s Corner, MT, as stated in the SOW, The lagoon is approximately 140 ft square, measured from the top of the liner.
