STATEMENT OF WORK

Provide Waste Water Lagoon Evaporator to G-01

Project Number

20 May 2024

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall provide the following:

A. A downdraft style waste water lagoon evaporator, 208V, 3 phase, 7.5 HP electric motor (5 HP consumed), less than 11 amps operating, 70 dB max at 75 ft, including power cable from onsite power to evaporator motor and mooring ropes needed to connect to onshore anchors. Dry weight not to exceed 800 lbs. Evaporator to be delivered (and assembled if needed) to Golf-01 Missile Alert Facility (MAF) near Bowman’s Corner, MT.

B. Removal and disposal of all crating and shipping materials.

Note: GOVT will unload evaporator and/or components (see weight limit above) and place the evaporator in the lagoon when the Contractor informs the GOVT that the evaporator is ready for use.

SUBMITTALS:

Machine and component data, including overall size and weight, motor electrical power requirements and power consumption data, control requirements, power cable size, and noise produced. (Controls and on site power to be provided by GOVT)

SECURITY AND FORCE PROTECTION:

A. Force Protection: Contractor personnel are required to abide by all real world Force Protection Condition (FPCON) measures, random anti-terrorism measures (RAMs), shelter-in-place orders, evacuations and lock-down notices as directed. Examples include mandatory badge or ID checks, facility single points-of-entry and searches of hand carried items.

B. Anti-Terrorism (AT) Awareness Training: In accordance with DoDI O-2000.16v1_DAFI 31-145- O, Antiterrorism (AT) Program Implementation, ensure Level I – AT Awareness Training is completed by all personnel within 30 days of requiring access, and annually thereafter. The training will be provided by the Government. The objective of the training is to provide personnel with requisite knowledge necessary to remain vigilant and enable employment of AT tactics, techniques, and procedures. This training will be conducted by Malmstrom AFB 341st Contracting Squadron, by providing a written pamphlet for review.

C. No photography or graphical recording of any kind allowed on DoD facilities without written permission of the Installation Commander.

NATIONAL CODES AND REGULATIONS (LATEST EDITIONS): N/A. GOVT will install controls and provide power service to the lagoon.

GOVERNMENT FURNISHED INFORMATION: N/A

GOVERNMENT FURNISHED UTILITIES: 208V, 3 phase power will be available. Any temporary connection or lines that may be required will be installed, maintained, and removed by the Contractor at his/her own expense and in such a manner satisfactory to the Contracting Officer. Any additional power required must be supplied by the contractor.

QUALITY CONTROL: Contractor shall provide an effective continuous quality control program with a Quality Controller appointed to perform self inspections of all contract work and ensure all deficiencies are corrected prior to placement of the evaporator in the lagoon.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 30 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

NOTICE OF FINAL INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: The Contractor shall schedule in writing the delivery date with the Contracting Officer. Final acceptance shall not occur until the evaporator is operational. Final payments shall not occur until all discrepancies are corrected.
